Kids ‘N Comedy was invited summer 2008 to be a part of the first Nantucket Comedy Festival, co-founded by comedians Kevin Flynn and Bonnie Levison. Four of our own kid comics Ryan Drum, Alejandro Kolleeny, Andrew vatier and Elijah Wapner were chosen to perform at a daily Kids N Comedy show for kids and their families. The festival offered classes to kids who were on the island that week so that they could develop their own stand-up comedy routines taught by comedian Jane Condon, a finalist on last years Last Comic Standing and Stu Morden, co-founder of
Kids ‘N Comedy.

The last evening, the kids from the classes performed with the Kids ‘N Comedy Pros. Alejandro Kolleeny, one of our Kids was invited to open for Mike Birbiglia, the headline comic of the festival.

It was an honor for all of the kids and Kids ‘N Comedy to be a part of the First Nantucket Comedy Festival.
